J. Susan (Sintz) Edgerly, President / Owner

Susan was born in Rochester NH , the daughter of the late George and Virginia (Hersom) Sintz. Susan is a lifelong resident of Rochester and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1970. Marrying in 1972 to Royal M. Edgerly, Sr. owner and licensed funeral director of R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, she was a stay at home mom for five years after welcoming their new son, Morgan J. Edgerly into their family. For a short period of time Sue worked at Purity Supreme Store then in 1980 began her employment at the funeral home. After working for two years she attended New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences graduating in 1983, summa cum laude. She has worked as a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1985.

Susan’s hobbies include spending time with her family, hunting, fishing, kayaking, traveling, cooking, knitting, hiking and just spending time in the outdoors especially Connor Pond in Ossipee, NH. She is the proud grandmother of eight; Connor and Mikayla Edgerly, Royal III, Sara, Nicole, Emily, Brittany, and four great grandchildren, Ahlyvia, Royal IV, Thomas and Savanah.

Susan has enjoyed her work at the funeral home and is blessed to have met and helped many families through their most difficult times.

Morgan J. Edgerly, Vice President/Co-Owner, Certified Preneed Consultant Certified Funeral Service Practioner

    Morgan was born and raised in Rochester where he attended the Rochester School system until his Junior year.  He attended Berwick Academy and graduated from Kimball Union Academy in Meriden NH in 1993. In 1994 he attended Lynn University in Boca Raton Fl., where he earned his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 1996 and in May of that same year passed the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards and and in 2006 earned his Certified Preneed Consultant certificate.

        Morgan resides in Strafford NH and has recently celebrated 14 years of marriage to Kimberlyn (Lambert) Edgerly and has two children; Connor Munroe Edgerly and Mikayla Morgan Edgerly. Morgan and his family enjoy many outdoor activities, cruising the Atlantic from gulf of Maine to the lower islands of the Cape, hiking the White Mountains and the Appalachia Trail system, swimming at Conner Pond, fishing and bow hunting. He has a special love of fitness and conditioning.

          He has worked in the funeral profession since he received his driver’s license at the age of 16. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1996. He is a 18 year member of the Humane Lodge #21 , Samadi Shrine Scottish Rite, National Funeral Directors Association, NH Funeral Directors Association, Funeral Ethics Association and is currently the Chairman of the NH State Board of Funeral Director and Embalmers.  He has currently earned his Certified Funeral Service Practioner. 

Daniel A. Spencer, Licensed Funeral Director

Dan is a lifelong resident of Rochester. He is a 1992 graduate of Spaulding High School. Dan began his employment with the Edgerly Funeral Home in 1996. In 2007 he graduated from the Funeral Institute of the North East and subsequently attained his New Hampshire funeral director’s license. Dan is married to Dena (Boyle) Spencer, they are the parents of three children Kali and Ryan Wiggin and Aaron Spencer, and the grandparents of Lydia West.
