Rochester - Bernice "Bunney" Carol Anderson, 60, of 8 Harriett St., died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after long battle with cancer.Born Feb. 23, 1949, in Lynn, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Staford) Hatch.Bunney lived in Rochester for the past 34 years after moving from Lynn. She was employed by the 1st National Bank in Rochester until her retirement and later worked at the Hostess Thrift Shop. She was very active volunteer having served as treasurer for the Spaulding High School Cheerleader Booster Club and was involve with the Rochester Little League. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Foxwoods and playing cards and slot machines.Members of her family include her husband of 36 years, John Anderson of Rochester; her son, SSGT Michael Anderson and his fiancé, Robin Weaver, of Camp Lejune, N.C.; her daughter, Kelley Libby and her husband, Tim, of Rochester; her grandchildren, Lydia, Lieghanne, Lauren and Brook Carolyn Libby, all of Rochester; her brothers, Dave Hatch and his wife, Linda, of Danvers, Mass., Fred Hatch and his wife, Carol, of Lynn, Mass., and Ronald Hatch of Gulf Port, Miss.; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by a sister, Diana Perham, in 2007.In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Seacoast Hospice,10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.Calling hours will be held Thursday 3-7 p.m., at the R.M.
