Rochester, NH- Beverly June Cormier, 88, of 24 Brock Street has come to the end of her journey on Nov. 13, 2017 at her home. She was born Nov. 12, 1929 in Rochester the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Bean) Stevenson. Beverly was a lifelong resident of Rochester and a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1949. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. Beverly enjoyed working on and attending class reunions with her friends. She especially loved spending time at home with family, grandchildren and friends. The widow of Roland J. Cormier who passed in 2003 she is survived by sons, Dwight and wife Virginia Cormier, Rochester, Daniel Cormier, Canaan, VT; daughter Kristie and husband Steve McDuffee, Nottingham, NH; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Priscilla Jane and husband Arthur Larochelle, Rochester; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Joyce Tilton and her husband Jimmy. The family gives a special thank you to Cornerstone Hospice and VNA , Dwight, Ginny, and Virginia for the great care they gave Beverly and for allowing her to stay in her own home. Family and friends may visit Saturday Nov. 25, 2017 from 11-12 PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. A memorial service will follow at 12 in the chapel of the funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street, Rochester, NH.
