Rochester, NH - Constance J. (Pomeroy) (Parker) Stone, 90, of Rochester, NH passed away on July 22, 2023 after a period of failing health. Born March 10, 1933 in Gloucester, MA to Harold and Margaret (Swanson) Pomeroy. Connie graduated from Chelmsford High School and became a registered dental hygienist after graduating from Forsyth Dental School in Boston in 1952. In 1955 she married John B. Parker former Spaulding High School basketball and track coach, who passed away in 1967, they had four children. Later she was married to Carl A. Stone of Dover, NH, they were married 26 years and had one daughter. After her retirement she took up golf with a passion and gained many friends throughout NH and New England as well. She played many years on the NH Women's Golf Association, Tri-State team. She was the former President of the Farmington Ladies League, Rochester Country Club Ladies League, past President of the NH Women's Golf Association, past President of the New England Women's Golf Association and served three years on the Board of Directors for the Rochester Country Club. Connie had other hobbies as well; decorating cakes, writing poetry for her friends, scrabble, cooking and decorating the year round Christmas tree. She is survived by her children John (Jeff) Parker, James B. Parker, Julie A. Leocha and her husband Mitchell, John S. Parker and wife Karen, Lorrie (Stone) Cutter. Grandchildren Rebecca Parker Asprogiannis, Christopher Parker, Kyle Cutter and Nicholas Cutter. Three step-sons Jeff Stone, Kimball and wife Misty, Jace Stone and wife Cary. Four great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 29h from 12:30pm-3:30pm at Nippo Lake Golf Club in Barrington, NH
