Gonic,NH- Lyndon Lee Denbow, 56, Of 12 Colby Street, died peacefully, Monday June 7, 2010, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Born August 20, 1953, he was the son of Hollis Denbow Sr. and Marion (Bowman) Knight. Lyndon graduated Noble High School in 1972, where he then went straight into the United States Marine Corp. He served seven years in the Marines, two of which was served in Vietnam. He came out of the service as a Corporal PF4. Lyndon spent most of his life installing fences. Before he was unable to work, he was employed by GC AAA Fence in Dover,NH where he was famously known as the "Legend" by his co-workers. He enjoyed their summer outings every year where he, himself would consume most of the lobster. Lyndon loved adventure, always put everyone first, and would "wow" anyone with his amazing card tricks. His family was what he cherished most. They include his wife of 29 years, Linda Denbow of Gonic, His daughters, Jessica Marcou of Berwick and Megan Denbow of Rochester. A son in law Fred Marcou of Berwick. His mother, Marion Knight, of Berwick.His brother Hollis Denbow Jr. and his wife Linda of Farmington. Three sisters, Betty Lyle and her husband Tom of Rochester. Edith Steele of North Berwick, and his twin sister Linda Begin of Berwick. Lyndon had 11 grandchildren, several cousins,several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews all who will miss him dearly. Lyndon was predeceased by his father Hollis Denbow of Lubec, ME. He was also predeceased by his son Travis Allen Denbow in 2005. The two were inseparable and are now together again. Donations maybe made to the American Lung Association Calling hours will be held Friday 6-8 at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867 Funeral services will be held Saturday 10am in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery following the service
