Margaret Howard

ROCHESTER - Margaret Howard, 93, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Gafney Home in Rochester following a period of failing health.Born in Milton on July 1, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Ora (Blouin) Brown.Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and later worked as a housekeeper for the Gafney Home. Upon completing her training she then became a nurse's aid.Members of her family include three sons, Peter Howard of Coldwater, Mich., Paul Howard of Hudson, N.H., and Roger Howard of Lancaster, Pa.; five grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Randy, Scott, and Peter; six great-grandchildren, Jace, Sheldon, Gabriel, Austin, Blake and Ashlyn Marie; one sister, Grace Birch and her husband, Arthur, of Rochester; many dear friends and staff at the Gafney Home.She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Howard; two sons, Theodore and Francis Howard; one daughter, Marie Howard, and two brothers, Ambrose M. Brown Jr. and John V. Brown.Family and friends may visit Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S.
