Wakefield, NH- Diane D. Osborne, 76, of 118 Stoneham Road and formerly of Gonic, NH died Friday March 21, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a period of failing health. She was born April 5, 1937 in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late Richard J. and Beatrice (MacDonald) Datson. Diane was an animal lover and particularly loved horses, having one of her own as a child. She was a supporter of the SPCA in her adult years. She met and wed Kenny Osborne and moved to Gonic, buying their first home. She worked at Allains Jewelry for a time and also at Frisbie Memorial Hospital where she was a member of the Auxillary. She also was a member of several art classes, hosting many in her own home. She was a talented artist, whether it was painting, home décor, furniture restoration or sewing her own clothing, they were all crafted with her hands and heart. They raised their daughters in Gonic and loved spending time with their only granddaughter at the time, Lindsey. They moved to Wakefield in 1989. This was a lovely home that they loved to entertain in. There were lots of family gatherings, cookouts, and parties here also. There were two more granddaughters, Morgan and Haley who spent lots of time "on the hill" as kids. Members of her family include her husband of 54 years, Kenneth W. Osborne; daughters, Kimberly Rae Lineham and husband, Bob of Brookfield, NH, Pamela Miles and husband Dale of Rochester ; grandchildren, Lindsey B. German, Morgan and Haley Lineham; sister, Beverly Naylor of Concord, NH and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Friday, March 28 2014 from 2-4PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester NH. A celebration of Diane's life will follow at 4PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
