Rochester-George A Perron,80, died Thursday January 26, 2012 at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover NH. Born February 22, 1931 in Somersworth NH he is the son of the late Thomas and Elsie (Turcotte) Perron. George has lived in Rochester for most of his life. He was employed at General Electric as a factory worker until his retirement. He was a communicant of St Martins Catholic Church in Somersworth. He was the past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #1393, a member of the Victory Club in Rochester and the Brown Bear snow shoe club. He enjoyed spending summers at Wells Beach Resort with his wife and playing cards with his friends and two special camping buddies; Logan and Tanner Croteau Members of his family include his loving wife of 29 years, Cheryl (Blanchette) Perron of Rochester, his sister, Pauline Torr and her husband Ralph of Rochester, his mother and father in law, Paul and Evelyn Blanchette of Rochester, his brother and sister in-laws; Glenn Blanchette and his wife Robyn of VA, Donald Blanchette of Rochester, Thomas Blanchette and his wife Lisa of Sanford, Paulynn Allen of Rochester, Susan St Cyr and her husband Dennis, and Elaine Gorham and her husband Edward, several nieces and nephews, a godchild, Stacy St. Cyr of Dover, he is predeceased by his brothers and sister; Gerard, Armand and Paul Perron, Rose Perrault, Roberta Houle and Priscilla Drake, a brother in-law, Peter Allen. The Family would like to thank Wentworth Douglass Hospital and St Anns Home for the special care that was provided to him.
