James Brassil

James Brassil, 79, of Revere, MA died on July 7, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. He was born Sept. 15, 1941in Boston, MA the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Toomey) Brassil. James worked for the City of Boston as a building inspector. He loved swimming, walking, roller skating, shopping, and hang gliding in Hawaii, a place he enjoyed tremendously. He was always fun to be with and will be missed. He was predeceased by siblings Jack Brassil, Dot Gavin, Paul Brassil, Rita Carroll, Richard Brassil and Maureen Brassil He is survived by his longtime life partner, Sandra McKay; Sandra's children, Jimmy, Dan, Mark, and Matthew. He was "Grampa Jim" to 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Siblings Margaret Cameron, Thomas Brassil, Robert Brassil, Nancy Luzzo, Fred Brassil, Joseph Brassil and Bill Brassil A Memorial service will be held Saturday July 24, 2021 at 1PM in the chapel of the R. M. 'Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
