Kevin Roberts

Rochester NH- Kevin Roberts, 50, passed away Thursday September 20, 2012 in Alexandria, VA following a brief illness. Born March 15, 1962 in Rochester, NH son of J. Bruce and June L. (Ryan) Roberts. Kevin was a graduate of Spaulding High School class of 1980. He then attended NH Technical Institute after which serving his apprenticeship and subsequently earning his Master Plumbers License in both Maine and New Hampshire. Kevin was a communicant of St. Mary Church of Rochester, and also an active member Le Club Victoire. He began his career with Duffy Mechanical and Denron Plumbing and Heating before pursuing his lifelong dream of having his own business Roberts Plumbing and Heating. Kevin was a loving and protective man who was always the first to be there for family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hiking, diving, swimming, hunting and fishing. Special times in his life included diving off Glen Ellis Falls, spending New Years on Mt. Chocorua, and spending time in Errol, NH. He adored his family especially his wife Monique and daughter Jennifer. He will be missed for his bear hugs, going to father daughter dances, and the special times they spent together. Members of his family include his wife of 17 years Monique (Laurion) Roberts of Rochester, NH; his daughter Jennifer E. Roberts of Rochester, NH; his father J. Bruce Roberts of Rochester, NH; his siblings Michael and his friend Vern of Rochester, NH; Guy Roberts of Rochester, NH; Susan Frazier and husband Brian of Meredith, NH; Michelle Messenger and husband Greg of Strafford, NH; and Kelley Bedard and husband Jim of Lebanon, ME; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother June L. Roberts in July of this year. Family and friends may visit Sunday September 30, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St Rochester, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11AM at St. Mary Church located on Lowell in Rochester. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Le Club Victoire Scholarship Fund, 111 N. Main St Rochester, NH 03867.
