Strafford NH-Mona Clark,87, of 760 First Crown Point Rd passed away after a sudden illness.Born December 12, 1929 in Somersworth, NH she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rosalma (Doyon) Lambert.Mona has lived in Strafford for the past 34 years since her husband retired from the military in 1983. She was a dedicated military wife who loved to travel with her husband. Most days you'd find Mona working away in her quilting room, creating her next masterpiece, something she was incredibly passionate about. She was a member of several quilting clubs in the Strafford area, and had a creative mind and artistic soul- something she would happily share if you had just a moment to listen. She was a woman of many talents, and was a fantastic cook. Family was first and foremost a priority in her life. Just spend a moment with her and she would happily tell you stories about her days, traveling the world with her husband Herb and their 4 children while he served in the Army. She would just beam with pride with each and every word, and left you no doubt that they all were her pride and joy. After her husband's retirement she enjoyed touring the US and Canada in an RV..Members of her family include her husband of 60 years, Herbert Clark of Strafford, her sisters; Colette Cincotta of Somersworth, NH, Marcelle Doucette of Florida, Solange Waterhouse of Somersworth NH, and her brother Robert Lambert of Berwick, Me. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her children; Richard Clark, Kenneth Clark, Steven Clark and Charlene Roseann (Clark) Rambeault. and her siblings; Leo Lambert, Roger Lambert, Rolande Lambert, Estelle Lambert, and Jeannine Towle.A memorial service will be held Saturday October 14 at 10am, at the Crown Point Church in Strafford NH.Burial will follow in the Crown Point Cemetery in Strafford NH.In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation in her honor to the charity of your choice.
