Ronal N Patch

Lebanon, ME- Ronal N. Patch, 81, of Shapleigh Road passed away suddenly Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his farm in Lebanon. Ron was born March 8, 1939 in Lebanon, Maine, the son of the late Howard and Madeline Patch. Ron was a lifelong resident of Lebanon and very active in his community. He served as selectman for 31 years and was devoted to serving the folks in town, especially the elderly. He loved delivering food baskets, donated by the different town organizations. He helped design and managed the transfer station, being named Manager of the Year by the State of Maine. He attended the Grace Baptist Church in East Rochester. Ron loved and was dearly devoted to his family who loved him back immensely. Ron loved his home, Crabapple Farm and found joy in its upkeep and maintenance. One of his greatest joys was entertaining family and loved ones with his beloved wife Lorraine at their farm. You seldom saw Ron without his wife Lorraine, his best friend and "the love of his life". They especially enjoyed riding in their antique cars and attending car shows with their family and friends. Ron also loved renovating older houses and "bringing them back to life". He had just completed his last renovation in West Lebanon village just a few short months ago. Ron kept busy with many activities at the farm and was never without his beloved labradoodle "Lucy", who was always by his side. Members of his family include his loving wife of 59 years, Lorraine (Moulton) Patch; sons, James Michael Patch and wife April, Phillip and Pam Powlesland; daughters, Jean Michele Lambert and husband Bruce, Jennifer Marie Godin, Janice Madeline Martin and husband Dave; grandchildren, Mareesa, Jordan, Daniel, and Isaac Miles, Ryan and wife Hilary Godin, Mackenzie Godin, Amber and Joey Cognato, Alexis, Ashley and Phillip Jr. Powlesland; brothers, Robert, Armand and Michael Patch; sisters, Mary Jones, Sylvia Arcouette and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Howard "Sonny" Patch, Rose Beety and Ethel Lizotte. A private family service will be held at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. with Pastor Reginald Morgan officiating. Burial will be in New Cold Spring Cemetery East Rochester NH at a later date.
