Wanda Fournier

Barrington, NH- Wanda Fournier, 74, of 195 Green Hill Road died Friday December 19, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born September 18, 1940 in Rochester, NH the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Randlett) Davis. She has resided in this area most of her life. She was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1959 and was especially proud of being Head Majorette. Wanda worked as an optometrist assistant for Dr. Kay for many years. She also worked for Meals on Wheels delivering to the elderly. In addition to being a mother, Wanda loved traveling and being with her family. She enjoyed shopping, sewing and rescuing animals. She had a deep compassion for animals and loved her kitties. The widow of Charles "Chuck" Fournier who died in January of 2010 after 47 years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters, Leanne Michelle Buote and her husband Jason of Farmington, NH, Nicole Leigh Fournier of Barrington, NH; sisters, Marlene Joyce Bonsell of Lebanon, ME., Sandra Mullen of Auburn, NH; sister-in-law, Louise Fournier of Barrington; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may attend a memorial service on Monday December 29, 2014 at 2 PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH.
