Alan R. Dame

Alan R. Dame, 69, a lifelong resident of Rochester NH, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022, after a long period of failing health. Alan was born March 25, 1953, to Richard and Jean (Gowen) Dame.  He graduated from Spaulding High School in 1971 and went on to Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH.  While earning an AS in Business, he met and, shortly thereafter, married his wife of 48 years, Faith. He worked his entire 40-year career as a Sales Representative for Nabisco, during which he and Faith enjoyed many group trips and outings with colleagues and friends.  During his time in the stores Alan developed a reputation for hard work and kindness with everyone he crossed paths with. Alan often reminisced about his trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico as a teenager and later climbing Mt. Washington to ski Tuckerman's Ravine with his lifelong friend, Alan Friend.
