Alan M. Grant

Gonic, NH- Alan M. Grant, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Wentworth- Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. He was born March 21, 1930 in Biddeford, ME the son of the late Charles M. and Sybil (Squarebriggs) Grant. Alan Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as head of numerical control for Heidelberg Harris Company for many years. Alan enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Works Fitness Center for 18 years. Members of his family include his wife of 64 years, Carolyn (Dow) Grant; sons, Jonathan and wife Connie Grant, Timothy Grant, all of Gonic; daughters, Candace Jipson, of Baltimore, MD, Tamara Grant-Gero and husband Steven Gero of Milton, NH; 6 grandchildren, Christopher and Charity Jipson, Jamie and Kaitlyn Grant , Zachary and Jess Gero; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
