Alan Maxfield

Rochester NH-Alan Dennis Maxfield,66, of Milton Rd died Wednesday January 4, 2017 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.   Born September 22, 1947 in Rochester he was the son of the late Emile and Vera (Ketchen) Maxfield                 Alan has lived in Rochester all his life. He was employed at the Rochester Public Works Dept for 28 until his retirement 2 years ago as a street sweeper and drove plow truck during the winter. He was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Elliot Me. He loved the railroads and the trains that traveled them. He was a member of the National Railroad Association. Alan loved traveling to Pennsylvania he also looked forward to every Sunday morning breakfast at Norma's Restaurant in York Me to meet with his church family.   Members of his family include his Wife of 45 years Judy (Gauthier) Maxfield of Rochester, his brother in-laws; Robert, Bruce and Mike Gauthier, nieces and nephews.   A memorial service will be held June 24 12:30-4:30 PM at the American...
