Alan David Shover

Alan David Shover July 27th 1963 - April 30th 2022     Alan left his physical body behind on April 30th.  He worked 20 years as a self-employed contractor.  He has been in ill health for some months and his body just finally said "enough".  God took him home to be with him.       He is survived by his daughter Samantha Nicole Shover of Manchester, NH, his son Matthew Alan Shover of Manhattan, NY; and his ex-wife Diane Shover the mother of their children.  Also his mother and father Patrica and Richard Shover Sr. of Georgia, his brothers Richard Shover jr and his wife Patrica Shover of Oregon, Douglas Shover and his wife Diane Shover of Georgia.He is also survived by his life partner of 32 years Cherie McGuire of Lebanon, ME.  Also her children Eric McGuire, Kate Faletra and Kelley McGuire and the 12 grandchildren.  He was known as Grampy Al with his "adopted" family and grandchildren and many close friends.     Dick and Paula Belanger, Cindy Wiles, Rich and Julie Giarla, Ray and Joanne Frizzel, Brenda and...
