Albert Murdo

Lebanon, ME - Albert "Townie" Murdo, 72, passed away Wednesday November 28, 2012 at his home following a period of failing health. Born April 3, 1940 in South Berwick, ME he was the son of the late Morton and Irene (Huntress) Murdo. Mr. Murdo had worked as an accountant for Davidson Rubber for 37 years. While at Davidson, he earned his accounting degree from McIntosh College and owned and operated Somersworth Tax Service. He was a Co- Owner of the Tri City Chargers Semi-Professional Football Team. He was a member of the Somersworth Chamber of Commerce. Al loved spending time with his family and watching the New England Patriots. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Patricia (Howard) Murdo of Lebanon, ME; his children Dean Murdo of Lebanon, ME; Dana Murdo of Lebanon, ME; Brett Howard and wife Holly of Lebanon, ME; Kevin Howard and wife Bertha of Farmington, NH; Holly Dorr of Farmington, NH; and Marie Calvi and husband Donn of Rochester, NH; His grandchildren Echo, Shane, Jamie, Tara, Amy, Sam, Jessica, John, Chelsea, McKenzie, Shannon, and Cody, his great grandchildren Janis, Aidan and Nolan; His siblings Sharon Hawkins, Diane Meserve, Brenda Murdo, and Michael Murdo, and his aunt Dorothy LaPointe of New Durham, NH; He was predeceased by two sons David H. Howard, Jr in 1992 and John H. Howard in 2009. Family and friends may visit Sunday December 2, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.
