Albert E. Theroux

September 19, 1943 — February 7, 2023

Albert E. Theroux, 79, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Langdon Place in Dover after a long valiant battle with cancer. Albert was born in Rochester, N.H. on September 19, 1943, the son of Emile and Lorraine (Gourgue) Theroux and was a lifelong resident of Gonic.  Before his retirement from General Electric in Somersworth, NH, Albert served in the United States Air Force. Albert is predeceased by his father, Emile Theroux, mother, Lorraine Theroux, and brother-in-law Robert Rheaume. He leaves his son, David Theroux and daughter, Janice Tilton and her husband Steven, sisters Patricia Moody and husband Ron, Claire Rheaume all of Rochester, NH, grandchildren Christopher Tilton of Pawtucket RI, Daniel Tilton and wife Alexis of Rochester, NH, great grandchildren Cason Tilton and Baylee Tilton, nephew Jacob Rheaume and wife Kate of Rochester and niece Emilee Rheaume of Rochester along with several cousins. Albert will be remembered for his strong family morals, his love for family, friends, history, the United States Air Force, sports and his strong work ethic.  The love of Albert's life were his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In his nightly conversations with his daughter, he would ask about how each and every one was doing.  He would talk world events with his son in law, asked if Chris's team won, how work went for Danny, if Cason, "THE LITTLE GUY" was enjoying school and if "Beetle" Baylee was well. The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to the all of the staff and nurses at Langdon Place of Dover, NH.  A special thanks to one special nurse, Robin Sue, that took exceptional care of Albert while in her care.  Robin Sue always had something to say and their constant playful conversations would put a smile on Albert's face.  Also, the family would like to give thanks to the Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover, NH and the NH Veterans Association. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Wounded Warrior Project.
