Alberta Ramsey

Portland Me-Alberta M. Ramsey,71, formerly of 43 Flat Rock Bridge Rd died Monday August 1, 2011 at Maine Medical after a brief illness. Born August 23, 1939 Alberta has lived in Rochester all her life, she was the daughter of the late Al and Maryann (Mattocks) Marcou. She was the wife of the late Terry Ramsey for over 40 years. Members of her family include her daughter Debra Ann (Ramsey) Kemp and boyfriend Michael Baker of Wakefield, a granddaughter, Lauren Kemp of Rochester, a life long friend who she called sister, Betty Rouleagh of Rochester and a friend named Vinny who called her mom, Al, Danny, Tony and Ben. She is predeceased by her sons Dale T. and Dennis P. Ramsey. She loved her family very much, she loved all the things in nature such as the ocean, sunsets, sunrises, rainbows and she like to watch her birds, the cardinal being her favorite. She was a member of AARP. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Roger Allen Baseball field, Spaulding High School Music Dept or to Ethel's Tree of Life...
