Moving with his family to Rochester in 1966, continued to enjoy his love of flyingin his "new" 1946 Taylorcraft at Skyhaven Airport on Rochester Hill Rd. Growing up, Al loved tennis and even became the MA State Champion. Sailing wasanother sport he loved, surviving a major hurricane in his sailboat on his second datewith Gloria in Scituate in 1950, after which they soon got married. Moving to the country from a Boston suburb was one of hisgreat desires.
