Ann Nisbet

April 12, 1935 — April 16, 2025

Ann Anderson Nisbet “Annie” 90 of Rochester NH passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.
Annie was born in Exeter Maine, on April 12, 1935. She was the 3rd of 4 daughters born to Charles and Elizabeth “Libby” (Perkins) Anderson. The family moved to Rochester where they raised and educated their girls.
Annie was employed for many years as a stitcher at Somersworth Shoe.
She was good natured, kind, and patient. She had many hobbies, including baking, tole painting, quilting, rug hooking and braiding, sewing, and antiquing.
She was a cat lover, loved seeing shows at the Ogunquit Playhouse and Prescott Park. She enjoyed the week at Cape Neddick with her sisters where they hosted the annual family 4th of July gathering. She loved to shop with her sisters even if they bought nothing! She enjoyed donuts with Amber. She loved the house they built in 1964, and the friendships made in the neighborhood. And boy…did she look forward to those Wednesday night Texas Hold’em games sitting around the table with family and friends laughing.
Annie is predeceased by her parents Charles and Libby Anderson, her sisters Shirley Sullivan and Charlene Steadman, all of Rochester, her daughter in law Mona Nisbet of Louden, and the love of her life John Hale of York, Maine.
She is survived by her son Kim Nisbet and his wife Doris (Dowie) of Tilton, her son Marc Nisbet of Loudon, granddaughter Margaret Faba and husband Tom of Rumney, granddaughter Abigail Reece and husband William of Franklin, great granddaughters Mabel and Lucy Faba, her sister Amber Hall and husband Thad of Milton. Nieces and nephew, Chuck and Marie, Shireen and Chuckie, Shaun and Maria, Marcia and Ronnie, Lynn and Tom, Thad and Karen, and Amy and Sean and many great nieces and nephews
Annie will live on in our hearts and will be remembered at a service at The Edgerly Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street Rochester on Saturday April 26th at 1:00.
