Annie Buzzell

Dover NH- Annie (Dodge) Buzzell, 84, of 3 Green St, passed on to Heaven at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover NH on March 1, 2010 after a period of failing health. Her loving family was continually at her bedside. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and especially by all of her children who thought she was a wonderful mother who put everything into her family. She was born Oct. 9, 1925 to Lewis H. Dodge, Sr and Olive (Harriden) Dodge, in Kensington, NH. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1942. While raising her family she worked for many years at Eliot Rose Company in Madbury, Varney's Cleaners in Rochester and Great Bay Cleaners in Durham, retiring in 1991. Annie was an avid reader and she enjoyed knitting, gardening, making puzzles and especially taking trips with her family. The widow of Arthur J. Buzzell who died on April 29, 1991, she is survived by her five children and their families, Millie Buzzell Giles and husband Ron of Rochester, Arthur Buzzell of Lee, Becky Buzzell Ripley and husband Bob of Portsmouth, Karen Buzzell Caverly and husband Len of Barrington, George Buzzell and his companion Leslie Gardine of Burlington, Ma; 7 grandchildren, Jason Buzzell, Rochester , Paul Lemke, Jr and wife Stacy, New Durham, Timothy Birt, Portsmouth, Arthur Caverly, Dover, Robert Caverly and wife Elizabeth ,Dover, Ryan Caverly and Philip Caverly of Barrington and 4 great granddaughters. Other surviving family members include a sister, Emma LaTouche of Rochester, two brothers, Elmer Dodge ,Rochester, Lewis Dodge, Jr and his wife Jeanine, Seabrook and several nieces and nephews. Also a special sister-in-law who was a good friend and traveling companion, Ella Sweeney of Dover. She was predeceased by a sister Florence DiMambro of San Antonio, TX. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday March 13, 2010, 1:00 pm at Karen and Len Caverlys home , 127 Young Road, Barrington, NH . Pastor Fredi Vega will officiate. Burial will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hyder Family Hospice House, 285 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.
