Anthony Martel Schroeder

Anthony Martel Schroeder, nick-named by his family "Marty", also known as "Tony" to most of his friends, passed away at the age of 72 on October 22, 2022. He was born to Antonetta Marie (Ferranti) Schroeder and Anthony Leon Schroeder in Denver Colorado on April 9, 1950. Tony was a resident at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH as of August 2020. Prior to, he lived in Rochester, NH. Tony attended Providence College and served twenty years in the NH Army National Guard as a Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. He enlisted in August 1984 and retired in August of 2004. Tony enjoyed sharing stories of his travel abroad in Europe during his younger days. He also often spoke of the love of his life, his dog named "Chubby". Tony was very knowledgeable about History and knew many Bible verses like the back of his hand. He enjoyed reading National Geographic magazine, listening to the Opera, and watching Disney movies in his spare time. The next "meal" was always on his mind.
