Arlene Florence Harrington

Rochester- Arlene Florence Harrington, 81, 221 Salmon Falls Road died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born March 29, 1930 in New Hampton, NH. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Forrest and Josephine (Cates) Campbell. Arlene was a loving wife and mother. Her whole life was devoted to her children. She selflessly cared for her mentally disabled daughter for 51 years without complaint. Her love was unconditional and she always put others first. She never had a harsh word for anyone. Her loving presence will be sorely missed. Members of her family include her husband of 61 years Frederick E. Harrington of Rochester. Her children Diane Linda Lucas and husband John of New York, Denise Carol Pratt and husband Eugene of Maine, Darlene Joy Harrington of Rochester, and Jefferson Mark Harrington and wife Christine of Rochester.
