Arnold Gilmore

STRAFFORD - Arnold W. Gilmore, 88, a resident of Crown Point Road, Strafford NH, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his residence. Arnold was born in East Rochester NH, April 19, 1926. The son of the late William and Mary Frances (Witham) Gilmore. Arnold was a graduate of Spaulding High School 1945. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II as was member of the 32nd Artillery Division. He owned and operated Granite State Chemical for 25 years. Members of his family include his Wife of 64 years Florence (Crisp) Gilmore of Strafford NH, Son David and wife Kimberley from Milton NH, Daughter Gina Aspinwall and husband Tom from Rye, NH. Grandchildren include Scott Gilmore, Callie Aspinwall, Tyler Aspinwall, and Torey Aspinwall; His brother Richard Gilmore and wife Shirley, His sisters Muriel (Gilmore) Witham, and Barbara (Gilmore) Crisp and husband George.
