Arthur Wyman

LEBANON, Maine - Arthur M Wyman,79, of 383 Shapleigh Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at his home of an apparent heart attack.Born July 25, 1930, in South Boston, Mass., he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Whalen) Wyman.Mr. Wyman was a graduate of South Boston High School and later went on to graduate from Northeastern University with a degree in engineering. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had lived in Lebanon, Maine, for the past 36 years after moving from Weymouth, Mass. He was employed at Brock Plywood in Rochester. He was a member of the Lebanon Historical Society as secretary and a member of the Southern Maine Garden Club. He enjoyed stained glass, painting and was an all around great carpenter.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy (Leighton) Wyman of Lebanon; his daughters, Desiree Leavitt and her husband, Albert, of Strafford, N.H., Maryann Leighton of Pepperell, Mass., and Denyce Gomes of Newmarket, N.H.; and his grandsons, Christian, Austin and Maxwell...
