Arvid E. Carlson

Strafford-Arvid "Carl" E. Carlson, 74, of First Crown Point Rd died Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born September 23, 1937 he was the son of the late Roy and Phyllis (Gilbert) Carlson. Arvid lived in Strafford most of his life with his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Douglas) Carlson who passed away in 2010, just prior to their 52nd wedding anniversary. He was employed as a parts manager at Robbins Auto for 30 years until his retirement. He attended 3rd Baptist Church in Strafford when he was able to. He enjoyed feeding and watching the birds; when he was younger tending his garden and traveling with his wife. Members of his family include his sons, Doug Carlson and his wife Stacy of Strafford and A. Edwin Carlson and his partner Walter Tardy of Haverhill Ma, a daughter, Lisa Bourque and her husband Dwayne of Acton Me, grandchildren; Sarah Carlson, Aliesha, Kari and Joseph Pierce, Jr, great grandchildren; Carter and Sophia Goodson, his brother Wilfred Carlson of Fl and a sister Donna...
