Avis Clarabel Stuart

Avis Clarabel Stuart, 93 years old, went to be with her Lord on June 5, 2015. Avis was born in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Thomas and Bernice Congram. Preceded in death by her brother Earl Congram from Rochester, NH. She was united in marriage to Earlon C. Stuart on September 15, 1951. She was survived by her children : Jeane & Russ Sample, Alton Bay, NH, James Stuart, Rochester, NH, Calvin & RaeAnn Stuart, Kildeer, IL, and Joyce Stuart, Rochester, NH; including 8 loving grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Avis and her husband Earlon owned Stuart's Greenhouse in Rochester, N.H. She was a foster Gram at the McClelland and School Street schools for 15 years. She was instrumental for many years in the Young at Heart ministry at Emmanuel Church. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of God. Her humble spirit among the many other positive attributes has made a mark on this world. We know she is at peace in the presence of her Lord. Box 1812 Rochester, NH 03866 Calling hours will be held Tuesday June 9th from 6:00-8:00 pm at R.M.Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St Rochester NH 03867.
