Barbara Grondin

ROCHESTER - Barbara L. Grondin, 75, of 162 Milton Road, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at her home.Born Nov. 2, 1933, in Springvale, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marion (Broadbent) McAleney.Barbara was a military wife and homemaker. She enjoyed painting ceramics and making crafts for the senior center. Most recently, she worked in the cafeteria of the middle school in Rochester. Members of her family include her children, Carol Morrison and husband Wayne of Canaan, Larry Grondin of Rochester, Patty Boller and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, Va., and Leo Grondin and wife Kathy of Atkinson; her sister Elaine Richards and husband Lou, and Donna Grondin and husband Roger, both of Maine; and her sister-in-law, Jeannine Ruel and husband Valmore, of Gonic. She is survived by her six grandchildren, Bill, Melinda, Michaela, Matthew, Callie and Kasey, and her close friend, Zette Tilton.
