Rochester NH-Barbara E. Koon,94, formerly of Olde Farm Lane and The Rochester Manor died ThursdayJanuary 28, 2021 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a period of failing health. Born April 15, 1926 in Colebrook, NH to Sherburne and Maude (Quilliam) Ramsay. Barbara was employed for several years at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH as a certifiedoperating room technician. Throughout her years there, she had the privilege of working with severalfine doctors and made many life-long friends. It was a profession she loved.Following her retirement, she moved to Rochester, NH where family resided. While living in Rochestershe worked for a time at Care Pharmacy.Barbara loved family and devoted her time to them. She was a most attentive and caring grandmother.She was a great story teller and often reminisced about her years growing up in Colebrook and toldwonderful stories of her life on the Ramsay farm.She enjoyed playing cards.
