Barbara Sargent

Farmington - Barbara E. Sargent, 90, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2013 at her home following a sudden illness. Born August 26, 1922 in Sharon, MA she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Grace (Rand) Lord. Mrs. Sargent worked as a secretary for Davidson Rubber in Dover for many years. Known by her immediate family as Nana, her favorite thing in life was spending time with them. Members of her family include her daughter Barbie Hansen and husband Gary of Cape Neddick, ME; her grandchildren Lori Stevenson and husband Michael of Greensboro, NC and Lisa Gould of Alfred, ME; one great granddaughter Hailey Gould, her siblings Pauline Hall of Taunton, MA; Patricia Dotson of Bradenton, FL; Virginia Labreque of Rochester, NH; and Richard Lord of Dearbourne Heights, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Steven Sargent. Family and friends may visit Sunday March 24, 2013 from 2-4 PM at the R. M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
