Barbara Waterhouse

Barrington, NH - Barbara Waterhouse,90, of Church Street passed away Sunday Nov. 18,2018 at her home with her husband of 74 years and daughter Eileen. She was born Nov. 15, 1928 in Dover, NH the daughter of the late Harold and Irine (Stimpson) Brown She has resided here most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Barrington, the Wiinnebago-Itasca Travelors and the Good Sam Travel Club where she served as an officer. She was a longtime member of the Barrington Historical Society and a 4H leader for girls and boys. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing Skipbo and American, as well as doing crossword puzzles, sewing, crocheting, knitting and jigsaw puzzles. Members of her family include her husband of 74 years, Lester Waterhouse; sons, Carl (Kathy) Waterhouse, and Daniel Waterhouse all of Barrington, Stuart Waterhouse, Strafford; daughters, Eileen Jewett, Barrington, NH, Ann Adam, San Antonio, TX, Gail (William)Remick, Madison, NH; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Gordon Brown, Barrington, NH. She was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Harold Brown, sister, Doris Decker, sons-in-law, Daniel Trask, Harold Jewett and Colman Adam. A memorial service will be held Monday December 3, 2018 at 11 AM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Barrington Ambulance Service. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Barrington in the Spring.
