Benjamin Tappan Lindsey Jr. passed away at Wentworth Douglass Hospital on July 21, 2026, after a period of failing health.
Benjamin Tappan Lindsey Jr was born in Beverley Mass to Benjamin and Viola (Burnson) Lindsey on October 5, 1952. Benjamin grew up with his siblings John Lindsey, Charlotte Searles, Alice Jeolrey and was predeceased by his sister Alicia Kempton.
Benjamin was in the Marine Corps Reserves and later Married his wife Terri Lindsey, they enjoyed a beautiful marriage for 47 years. Together they shared three daughters, Larissa Collins, Lana Lindsey, and Laurie Lindsey. Grandchildren, Hailey Kempton, William Verge Jr., Adam Lane, Lindsey Smith, Ariana Pacheco, Xavier Pacheco and Athena Lindsey. Being a kind and dependable father and grandfather was of the utmost importance to Benjamin, and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family. Benjamin had many skills including carpentry, roofing and painting.
As a young child Benjamin's father would often put him on the gas tank of his motorcycle this began his fondness for motorcycles and eventually Benjamin was a Chaplin for the Peabody Elks Riders.
A Celebration of life in his honor will be held on September 20, 2026, at 2:00 at the Beverley Peabody Elks
