Bernard C. Manning

March 14, 1940 — February 10, 2022

Bernard C Manning (a.k.a.Butch)was born in Brookline MA to late Bernard L Manning and Ester Manning (Coburn). He grew up on the family farm in Londonderry New Hampshire along with his younger brother Steven Manning, who preceded him. Bernard joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served in various regions of the world and throughout the United States retiring in 1978 as a Senior Master Sergeant. While serving in the Air Force, Bernard met his wife, the late Carol Ann Gean (Suesz). Together they had two children, Sally Manning-Camire and husband, Michael Camire of Prattville, AL and Patrick Manning and wife, Dorothea Lashua of The Woodlands, TX.  Bernard was married to his second wife, the late Kathleen Michaud. He has two stepsons, Mark Michaud and wife, Debbie and Tony Michaud and wife Rhonda. After Butch retired from the USAF he worked at Heidelberg Harris from where he retired. His greatest joy was his family and friends. He also loved watching both college and professional football, Go Big Red and the Packers. In retirement Butch had many hobbies including collecting NASCAR memorabilia and Football memorabilia. He also was an avid coin collector. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, and boating. He was a member of the Rochester Elks and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a supporter of both military veteran's organizations and charities that supported children. Bernard Leaves behind his daughter Sally, his son Patrick, stepsons, Mark and Tony, nephew Matthew Manning, 9 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
