Bernard C Manning (a.k.a.Butch)was born in Brookline MA to late Bernard L Manning and Ester Manning (Coburn). He grew up on the family farm in Londonderry New Hampshire along with his younger brother Steven Manning, who preceded him.
Bernard joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served in various regions of the world and throughout the United States retiring in 1978 as a Senior Master Sergeant. While serving in the Air Force, Bernard met his wife, the late Carol Ann Gean (Suesz). Together they had two children, Sally Manning-Camire and husband, Michael Camire of Prattville, AL and Patrick Manning and wife, Dorothea Lashua of The Woodlands, TX. Bernard was married to his second wife, the late Kathleen Michaud. He has two stepsons, Mark Michaud and wife, Debbie and Tony Michaud and wife Rhonda.
After Butch retired from the USAF he worked at Heidelberg Harris from where he retired.
His greatest joy was his family and friends. He also loved watching both college and professional football, Go Big...
