Berry Brackett, 74, of Rochester New Hampshire, passed away at her home in October. She was born in Houlton, Maine in 1942 to parents Woodbury and Barbara Brackett. Her father worked in local government and she lived all over Maine and New Hampshire. Berry attended the University of Maine at Orono and received her Masters of Social Work from Simmons College in Boston. She worked for the Institute of Living and the University of Connecticut Health Center before starting a small private practice. She retired from the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut. Berry won people over with her sharp wit, sassy sense of humor, and her big heart. She loved talking to people, playing solitaire, reading, and sharing gifts, whether they were trinkets or time. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves her daughters, Sarah and Nancy; her grandchildren, Olivia, Tom, and Tyler; and her son-in-law, Will.
