Bette Grassie Reade

Port Charlotte, FL- Bette Grassie Reade, 75, passed away Monday Aug. 15, 2016 at the Royal Palm in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born October 15, 1940 to Ruth and Bernard Grassie. Bette was a native of Rochester, NH but spent most of her life living and working in Wolfeboro, NH.   Bette graduated from Spaulding High School in 1959. She then went on to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where she graduated in 1962. She was a Registered Pharmacist until she retired from Hall's Pharmacy in Wolfeboro, NH in 1999. Bette had many hobbies. She loved snowmobiling, boating on Lake Winnipesauki and golfing. She had horses and also raised and showed Irish Wolfehound dogs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Robin LaCouture of Wolfeboro, NH and Punta Gorda, FL. and her daughter, Sandra Delisle of Stratham, NH. She has four grandchildren. Bette was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Bernard Grassie and her husband of 17 years, Gordon Reade. A graveside service will be Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11AM...
