Beverly A. Elia

Rochester, NH- Beverly A. Elia, 69, of 21 McKinley Street died suddenly Thursday May 17, 2018 at her home. She was born Dec. 18, 1948 in Portland, ME the daughter of the late Albert and Sylvania (Lamie) Vincent. She has resided in Rochester most of her life and was a longtime member of True Memorial Baptist Church. Beverly was very passionate about her church. She worked as a school teacher at Jack and Jill Kindergarten then in customer service at Market Basket for several years. Bev's biggest pleasure was spending time with her 3 granddaughters. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. The widow of David Elia who died in 2000, she is survived by two sons, Anthony Elia and wife Carolyn, Matthew Elia and wife Sarah; granddaughters, Natalie, Gwen and Gianna; siblings, Roger and Ronald Vincent, Gloria Maxfield, Jane Spinney and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM in True Memorial Baptist Church, 21 Ten Rod Road Rochester with Rev. Rick Lamairande officiating. Burial will follow in Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street, Rochester, NH.
