Bruce Webb Maclellan

Wolfeboro, NH- Bruce Webb MacLellan died on Friday, February 19, 2021.Bruce was the loving husband of Anne and father of Jake (Becca) and Jeff (Kirsten) and special grandfather to four beautiful granddaughters Lindsay, Annie, Callie and Hayden.Bruce was born in Wakefield, Massachusetts in 1946. He graduated from Berwick Academy and UMass Amherst and then he served in the National Guard.  Bruce met Anne after college before he joined Marriott Hotels, where he worked for over 30 years. He was extremely successful in his work with Marriott for many reasons.  He valued everyone, no matter their position and made everyone feel important.  He was a compassionate leader and a solid example of good character and integrity.  During that time, they lived in a number of states in the US as well as overseas in Europe and the Middle East.  They enjoyed going on travel adventures with their two boys, including skiing in the Austrian Alps and riding camels through the desert.  Bruce had a life long love affair with Lake Winnipesaukee beginning in early childhood with his family spending summers on the lake.  He was lucky enough to have a house on the lake and a boat of one variety or another all his life.   Bruce and Anne retired to Wolfeboro, where he was a member of Kingswood Golf Club, Wolfeboro Rotary and a board member of the New Hampshire Boat Museum. He earned a Paul Harris Fellowship while involved with Rotary and helped with many aspects of the Boat Museum.  He loved working with wood, rebuilding an antique wooden boat in his retirement.  He also loved to ski and spend time out on the water. Bruce was known for his dry humor and quick wit as well as his attention to detail in his work and home life.  He dearly loved his dogs over his life, especially their current pup, Piper.Condolences may be sent to Edgerly Funeral Home:www.edgerlyfh.comIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J.
