Carl L. Jones, Jr.

East Rochester - Carl L. Jones, Jr. passed away Wednesday January 16, 2013 peacefully at home with his wife Mary at his side following a long period of failing health. Born in Lebanon, ME on August 11, 1930 he was the son of Carl L. and Beatrice (Keefe) Jones, Sr. Carl was a graduate of Sanford Maine High School and served in the United States Navy in 1949. Following his service in the Navy, he worked as a Master Elecrtician at Simplex Wire and Cable Co. in Newington, NH and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard followed by opening his own business, Jones Radio & TV service, then into property ownership and management in the surrounding area. He was very proud to be one of the founding members of the Landlord Association. He was a life member of the Rochester Elks Lodge 1393.
