NEW DURHAM ; Carl Elmer Lytle, 64, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.Born Nov. 15, 1944 in York, Maine, he was the son of the late Fred E. and Maybelle (Drew) Lytle Sr.Carl Lytle was a loving father, grandfather, brother and partner who left his family too soon. He retired from the University of New Hampshire last year as a security supervisor and enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially up to the family summer camp. Carl was active coaching basketball for the New Durham Recreation Department. Members of his family include his companion, Kelly Baker of New Durham; his children Michael Lytle of Milton, Gary Lytle of Barrington, Jordan Lytle of New Durham, Heather Coburn of Rochester, and Miranda Jacobs of New Durham; 10 grandchildren; his siblings Fred Lytle Jr. of York, Maine, Charles Lytle of Cape Neddick, Maine, Philip Lytle of Eliot, Maine, Robert Lytle of North Carolina, Bradley Lytle of York, Maine, Beverly Mack of Sanford, Maine, and Donna Cole of New Durham; and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Wayne Lytle.Family and friends may call Tuesday Feb. 24, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S.
