Rochester, NH - Carol Ann DuMont was a lover of Jesus and His word. Her life was changed in a moment when she received Him into her heart. From then on, she lived her life sharing the gospel and setting an example for her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Carol was talented in many ways and used those talents to help many people and bring great joy into their lives. She worked for several years at the Telephone Company as a supervisor for the Directory Department. She also worked in a Crisis Pregnancy Center helping many women and their children find hope, love and direction. When living in Florida, she became a hospice volunteer and offered much comfort to the patients and their families. Also, while in Florida, she worked at Jesus Loves You, a place that provided help for the poor and homeless. Carol cared for many elderly people in her church and the local area of Northport where she lived. Carol and her husband Roland moved to Rochester New Hampshire in 2018 to live with her daughter after suffering from cancer. She began attending True Memorial Baptist Church in Rochester and made many good friends there. Her hobbies include watercolor painting, sewing, reading, cooking lovely meals for her family and friends and interior decorating. Most importantly, Carol left a legacy of service and was always faithful to her Lord. For that, her family is eternally grateful and though she is home with Christ and the many friends and family who went before her, it is her earthly family that is feeling the tremendous loss of her passing. We are so happy to know that we will see her in eternity, never to part again. Carol leaves behind her wonderful husband Roland DuMont of 61 years, daughters Michele and husband Greg Jerow from Peabody Ma. and Tracy and husband Roger Chafe from Rochester NH.
