Catherine M. Hanson

Rochester - Catherine M. Hanson, 84, passed away Saturday July 13, 2024, at the Rochester Manor following a period of failing health. Born July 28, 1939, in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (O'Connor) Carter. Cathy was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She worked as a switchboard operator for Frisbie Memorial Hospital & Curtis 1000. Members of her family include Mark Hanson and wife Lindy of Rochester, NH; Steven Hanson and wife Mary Jo of Errol, NH; and Mary Beth Hertel and her boyfriend Gerry Hammer of Tuftonboro, NH; her grandchildren Kerianne, Casey, Meghan, Christie, Carter, Cooper, Holly, Jeff, Michael, Joe, Nicholas, Alyssa, Hannah and Nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Hanson in 2013 and two brothers Frederick and Eugene Carter.
