Cathy Adams

FARMINGTON - Cathy Adams, 44, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover following a period of failing health.Born Feb. 22, 1965, in Dover, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Loretta (Cassell) Cromeenes.Cathy was employed in 1996 at the Lincoln Terrace Home, Inc. in Rochester as a care provider. Due to her exemplary dedication and care that she provided, she was transferred and promoted to Rosewood Manor, LLC in January of 2001 and became the primary care provider at the Rosewood Manor in Gonic. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo, and taking care of people both at work and at home.Members of her family include her husband, Leroy Adams of Farmington; her children, Matthew Adams and Kelly Martin of Farmington, and Stacy Hardtke of Rochester; five grandchildren; two brothers, Darryl Cromeenes of Haverhill, Mass., and Wayne Cromeenes of Madbury; two sisters, Sheryl Ellenwood of Rochester, and Debbie Dixon of Plymouth, Maine; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold Cromeenes.Family and friends may call Monday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St., Rochester.A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to Rosewood Manor, LLC 2 Church St., Gonic, NH 03839 payable to Mr. Adams.
