Charles Cullen Bedirian February 19, 1954- October 5, 2026
Charles Bedirian, better known as Charlie, son of Margaret and John Bedirian passed away surrounded by loving family the morning of October 5, 2026.
Charlie leaves behind his wife of 36 years Linda Bedirian, his sons John Bedirian, Chuck Bedirian and partner (Jennifer Leech), Alex Bedirian and wife (Cat Hoefler) and stepchildren Jennifer Needham and partner (Scott Colson) and Jimmy Vachon.
He was a loving grandfather to Matthew Milinski, Natalie Milinski, Charles Anthony Bedirian, Gavin Needham, Charles Michael Bedirian, Trinity Bedirian, Ruby Bedirian, and Liberty Bedirian.
Charlie was active in sports his whole life. He was involved with the Trek Across Maine for 25 years, countless seasons at Maine Adaptive Skiing and most recently a 25-year stint on the board at Lakes Region Disabled Sports where he organized the annual fundraiser.
“Coach” Bedirian was an active member of Wells Little League where he would eventually hold the title of President. Shortly after his time there, in 1994, Charlie would go on to found the Wells Pee-Wee Football league, a project that best exemplified his passion and dedication for youth sports.
Charlie was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Charlie was always on the go, be it skiing or cycling, but the greatest of his joy wasn’t on a slope or a road. That joy came when he was surrounded by family and sharing stories.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH from 10 AM – 12 PM, followed by a funeral service held at 12 PM in the chapel. Burial will be at the Old Town Cemetery, Rollinsford, NH, following services at the funeral home. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, Charlie and his family would appreciate any donations to The Maine Cancer Foundation (mainecancer.org)
