Charles David Garran

East Rochester - Charles David Garran, 74, passed away Friday July 31, 2015 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born October 7, 1940 in Rochester, NH, he was the son of the late Dr. Charles Stevens and Marjorie (Foster) Garran. Mr. Garran and his son Jeff were co-owners of Isinglass Auto where he worked painting cars for many years. David was a member of the Elks Lodge 1393 of Rochester. He loved gardening, fishing, and antique cars. Family was truly at the center of David's life. He loved dearly his wife of 56 years Janice (Ames) Garran and lived to support and cherish his children C. Jeffrey Garran and wife Sarah of Rochester; Lisa Mountain and husband Fulton of Barrington, NH; and Jayne Perkins and husband Glenn of Lebanon, ME; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister Judith Fay of Laconia; and a special niece Brenda Kendall.
