Charles L. Henderson

Milton- On February 25, 2012, Charles L. Henderson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Hyder House in Dover, NH. Charlie was born on August 28, 1929 to Ruth (Gerrish) and Edwin Henderson. Charlie was born and raised in the Rochester and graduated from Spaulding High School, class of 1947. In 1951, Charlie married Mildred Copp of Rochester, NH; Charlie and Millie raised their four children on the family farm in Rochester. Prior to their retirement they owned and operated Henderson's Greenhouse & Garden Center and Happy Valley Camping Area. He was a member of the New Hampshire Plant Growers Association, New Hampshire Campground Owners Association and New Hampshire Giant Pumpkin Growers Association. In 2005 they built a new home in Milton, NH. The Henderson home was a constant center of activity. Charlie and Millie spent many winters in Florida.
