Charles Scott

Rochester - Charles R. Scott, 78, passed away Monday October 5, 2015 at Hyder Hospice House following a period of failing health. Born October 9, 1936 in Rochester, NH he was the son of James Scott, Sr and Isabelle (Root) Merrill. Charlie served in the US Air Force, and later retired as a sheet metal worker from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Charlie was a very kind and generous man who was extremely loyal to those who were fortunate enough to call him their friend. He was a happy man who could always be heard singing or whistling. Charlie loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching all of the New England sports teams, fishing and playing cards.
