Charles Souza

Charles "Charlie" Albert Souza, age 61, born April 22, 1956 in Boston, MA died October 4, 2017 at Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH. Son of Manuel Souza and Sally (Scott) both deceased. Survived by his children Nikoma Souza and Charles Souza Jr of Washington State. Charlie is also survived by his eight siblings and their spouses - Julie and Bob Jablonski, Tina and Lenny Nadeau, Pamela and Mark McCauley, Mark Souza and Gina Lemay, all of Rochester, NH, Alice and Mike White of Wakefield, NH, Sandi Souza and Derek Everman of Pocasset, MA, Bettiejo and Bill Schnoor of Otisfield, ME, Jenifer and Rick Badger of Stoughton, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Charlie grew up in Plymouth, MA before proudly joining and serving in the Navy for 16 years. Prior to his illness in 2008 he was a long-distance truck driver going from California to Oklahoma for several years. Charlie enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching the Boston Red Sox & the New England Patriots games, and also playing RPG games on his computer.The family would like to thank the staff of Constellation Hospice and Heaven-Sent Home Care for the excellent in-home care Charlie had been receiving, Also, Hyder Hospice House for the care and respect that was shown to Charlie during his short stay there.There will be a graveside service on October 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Plymouth, MA at St. Joseph's Cemetery, meeting at the Souza family site.If desired an in-memory donation can be made to Hyder Hospice House 285 County Farm Rd Dover, NH, Constellation Hospice 180 Low St Newburyport, MA 01950 and Heaven-Sent Home Care 32 Tanglewood Dr Nashua, NH 03062.Cremation is under the care of the R.M.
