Barrington- Cheryl Lee (Cooper) Collins, 56, of 364 Berry Road died May 15, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Methuen, MA on October 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ralph and Shirley (Palmer) Cooper. She graduated from Spaulding High School, class of 1973. She worked and retired as a seamstress from Global Manufactory, Inc. in Pittsfield, NH. She was a member of the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 and the American Legion Post 7. She was the first female in NH to run for office of the Exalter Ruler. She enjoyed baking and volunteered her time and energy at the Elks. She always was helping at fundraisers and charities; cooking or doing what ever was needed to do. The Elks were her second family and she enjoyed working with everyone at the lodge. Members of her family include her two sisters, Mrs. Glenn (Wendy) Chadbourne of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Mrs. Dean (Robin) Cameron of Barrington. Her two brothers; Warren and Charlotte (Stanley) Cooper and Gary Cooper both of Rochester. Ten nieces and nephews; Curtis Cooper of Virginia Beach, VA (U.S. Marines), Jay Cooper of Clovis, NM, Amber Cameron of Manchester, Kyle Cameron of Dover, Mandy Cameron of Barrington, Gregory and Christopher Chadbourne of Port St. Lucie, Fl, Mrs. Raymond (Melissa) Danforth of Rochester, and Ashley and Tyler Cooper of Rochester. Great nieces and nephews; Jacob and Morgan Danforth of Rochester, Lily Prystas of Manchester, and Dominic Cameron of Dover. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter James Cooper. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 2 PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867.
